For welding 4.0mm, 5.0mm, nd 6.0mm electrodes, then our rental 300-500amp hire plant diesel welder generators are required. If you only need to weld up to 40 3.2mm rods at a time, there’s a new answer for site work. The VOLT™.
Capable of welding up to 140amps on battery power (3.2mm electrodes maximum), and a maximum of approx. 40x 3.2mm 7018 rods on 4x DeWALT XR FLEXVOLT 12Ah batteries, and up to 50x 4.0mm 7018 rods on 4x DeWALT XR FLEXVOLT 15Ah batteries, before needing to swap batteries.
We also hire an additional ‘4x spare battery package’ if required.
