Spectrum supplies Submerged Arc welders to the £61 million SeaRose FPSO contract in Belfast

Introduction

Early in 2024 Spectrum was approached Harland & Wolff to provide welding expertise as part of their commitment to help deliver a £1.6bn Fleet Solid Support programme.

One of the biggest projects of its kind in Europe, Joe Fitzpatrick worked closely with the client on this project, as one of the only companies in Europe able to support such a large fleet of specilised submerged arc tractor welding.
